Job description

Our client is an established RC frame and civil engineering contractor. Their head office is in the North of England and they have a regional office in London.

My client has recently been awarded a £3M groundworks project in Wembley and they have a vacancy for a Project Manager to mange this project.

There will be a very experienced crew of groundworkers and machine drivers on site, who have worked for my client on several projects.

Main duties:

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the project.
  • Managing and coordinating manpower.
  • Ensuring the project runs to programme and budget.
  • Ensuring the company’s QA documentation is managed.
  • Liaising with the clients’ management team.
  • Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out safely, to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Site Manager or Project Manager on groundworks projects.
  • Excellent safety record.
  • Good communication and IT skills.

My client will hire someone on a permanent or self-employed basis. They can offer long term employment.

Salary and benefits will depend on experience.
