Job description

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to work with a leading building contractor in their Dublin office. My client is one of Ireland’s longest established construction companies who have an excellent reputation and enviable record of success.

The successful person will be working within a well-established team on a variety of prestigious projects and will have the opportunity to develop gain additional skills with an experienced BIM enabled contractor.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review 3D Models from consultants and subcontractors
• Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
• Export DWF / IFC and other formats for collaboration internally and externally
• Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
• Identify and document clashes between different models using Navisworks Manage
• Administer the agreed Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
• Implement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan
• Develop Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP), establish information structure and standards, agree output formats and validate compliance
• Follow BIM standards and development procedures
• Work under direction of design professionals and the BIM Manager

Essential Criteria

• 3+ years industry experience actively working on projects
• Degree in Construction / Engineering / Architectural Technology
• Proficient in Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, Revit Structure, Navisworks Manage
• Previous experience working for a main contractor is desirable
• General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish discipline tasks
• Good understanding of BIM compliance documentation e.g. PAS 1192, with knowledge of BEP, EIR, COBie
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work as part of team and on own initiative

Desirable Criteria
