Our client, an established construction company, have a new opportunity available for an experienced Office Administrator / Assistant to work in their Bedfordshire office.

Duties Include

  • Maintaining vehicle maintenance and service logs
  • Checking purchase invoices against delivery dockets and prices
  • Raising purchase invoice queries with suppliers and following up to resolution
  • Purchasing                   
  • Chasing up delivery dockets from site
  • Maintaining CHAS, SMAS, Constructionline accreditation
  • Completion of PQQ forms            
  • Maintaining training matrix
  • Booking flights, accommodation etc
  • Taking & checking deliveries
  • Answering telephone

Qualities and Experience required:

  • Ideally the person should have previous experience working in a small office/company environment.
  • Conscientious
  • Reliable
  • Self-motivated
  • Proactive
  • Must be organised
  • Be confident enough to ask questions if unsure
  • Must have good Maths and English
  • Microsoft office skills, particularly Word and Excel
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Some H&S experience may be useful but not required

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday inclusive
  • 8am to 5pm (flexible on this so 9am to 6pm would also be fine)
  • Lunch break of 1 hour

The salary offered will depend on experience.
