We have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join an established construction company based in Co Tipperary.

The HR Manager will have full responsibility for the HR functions of the business and will provide a broad range of HR services and support across the business, working closely with senior management and reporting to the Managing Director.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing day to day HR services.
  • Develop, administer and monitor HR systems that support business performance and ensuring that adequate HR & Payroll process controls are in place.
  • Support with activities such as contract preparation, absence and performance management, disciplinaries and grievance processes, in line with best practice.
  • Maintenance of staff records
  • Provide support to employees on all pay related and employment matters.
  • Provide support to all managers in maintaining and developing a strong and positive working relationship with employees. 
  • Assisting senior management to attract, develop and retain top talent.
  • Coordination of training and development activities
  • Support management and provide HR advice.

Requirements:

  • Business Masters/Degree or relevant HR qualification.
  • At least 3+ years HR Management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish Employment Legislation.
  • Proven ability to work with many stakeholders and senior management teams.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Desirable

  • Experience working in the Construction industry.
