Site Manager job in Cork

Job description

Our client, a respected medium sized general building contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to work on their construction project in Cork. Their projects range from Residential, Commercial, Health Care and Education.



Duties will include:

• 
Ensure works are carried out to a high standard
• Responsible for all on site personnel and dealing with sub-contractors
• Liaise with sub-contractors on materials orders
• Ensure safe workplace, safe systems of work, competent personnel and safe working practices and culture
• Attending regular site meetings with site management to update on progress
• Record daily activity logs for all site activity

Requirements

• Trade qualified (carpentry) or diploma / degree qualified
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on construction projects in Ireland or the UK
• Experience working with a main contractor
